Canyon (operated by PlatCo GmbH, Berlin, Germany) takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

PlatCo GmbH, Berlin, Germany is the data controller for personal data processed through canyon.tech. Contact: privacy@canyon.tech.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the website and respond to your requests:

• Contact form and demo request data (name, email, company, role, message).
• Website analytics (aggregated page views, referrer, country). No cross site tracking.
• Cookies used only for essential site function unless you opt in.

3. Why we collect it

• To respond to demo and sales requests (legitimate interest, consent).
• To measure product interest and improve the site (legitimate interest).
• To comply with applicable law.

4. Where your data lives

Canyon customer deployments run on your own infrastructure. For website and marketing data, we use EU based providers wherever possible. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without appropriate safeguards (SCCs or adequacy decision).

5. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of your personal data at any time. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email privacy@canyon.tech and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Retention

Demo and contact data is retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless you become a customer (in which case it is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship plus applicable statutory retention periods).

7. Changes to this policy

We will post updates on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced directly to customers.
